Matt,
Where was the rest of the fans? Only one side of the stadium was full of fans. I guess OU fans didn't show up like their team.
Michael
One of the greatest traditions of the TX/OU game is the disgrace that the losing team feels. Every year the losing team fans must make the walk of shame by leaving the game early, so you can't be hard on the OU fans for leaving. It's just one thing that makes this game special.
The walk of disgrace, I've found, is even tougher for the fans of the losing team that decide to stay until the end. Walking down the ramps and all the way out of the fair you have to hear it from the proud fans of your hated rival. (Most of whom have had their fair share of beer) It is a great tradition.
But, just for the record- I keep my mouth shut for 5 YEARS! 5 YEARS not one peep out of me- If only some of the Texas fans couldve appreciated my silence...
I know you did and I appreciate the lack of gloating in my time of sorrow.
Aaron I certainly appreciate your silence since I had to see you all the time in class and you certainly could have put it in my face more than once but never did.
I also feel really bad for you guys and Peterson. That sucks for everyone.
